According to recent reports from XR Vision Pro, it has been claimed by sources familiar with
the matter that ByteDance;s upcoming AI smart glasses may adopt the Bestechnic
2800+Superacme ISP chip solutionXR Vision Studio has learned that multiple AI smart
glasses are already using this chip solution.

Bestechnic 2800 is a highly regarded chip, and many AI smart glasses currently use it as the
main control chip. However, in order to meet the shooting capabilities of AI smart glasses, an
external ISP chip is needed. The ISP chip is specially designed for image signal processing
and plays a crucial role in determining the image quality of AI smart glasses with a focus on
photography.
The selection of the SoC (System on Chip) for AI smart glasses is a key decision, as it will set
the upper limit of the product's user experience. For example, Meta-Rayban uses
Qualcomm’s AR1 chip, while Xiaomi’s AI smart glasses use a combination of Qualcomm AR1
and Bestechnic 2700 chips. Other brands, like FlashEdge, use the Unisoc W517 SoC.
Compared to Qualcomm’s AR1 chip, the Bestechnic 2800 chip with an external ISP offers a
more cost-effective, low-power solution with longer battery life. According to a development
team, the ISP chip can be tuned to achieve imaging effects similar to those of Qualcomm
AR1, at a fraction of the cost. The overall BOM (Bill of Materials) cost for the AI smart glasses
can be kept under CNY 1000, with the retail price potentially under CNY 1500.
