Recently, Harvatek teamed up with ITRI and Zhuifeng Keji to launch Taiwan’s first

Micro LED AR smart glasses. This product features high image quality (FHD), high

brightness and low energy consumption, which significantly improves the outdoor use

experience, solves the problem of insufficient brightness of AR glasses under strong

light, and adapts to a variety of environments.

The Micro LED display panel of this glasses was jointly developed by Harvatek and

ITRI. After optical optimization, the brightness exceeds 3,000 nits, which is more than

5-10 times that of OLED AR glasses sold in Taiwan, ensuring that it is still clearly

visible under direct sunlight. At the same time, the power consumption is controlled

within 1W, which significantly extends the battery life of the device, making it more

suitable for long-term use.

In order to further optimize the display effect, ITRI focuses on the application and

research of Micro LED in virtual and augmented reality. With years of deep cultivation

of semiconductor technology, it has successfully developed Micro LED with a pixel

pitch of less than 4 microns, and accurately transferred it to a CMOS substrate with

semiconductor circuit design, effectively overcoming the technical challenge of

alignment accuracy.

In addition, the glasses integrate artificial intelligence technology and support real-

time voice translation, which can instantly convert voice into Chinese, English,

Japanese, Italian and other languages, and display it on the screen in the form of

subtitles. This function has important application value in multilingual communication

scenarios such as international conferences and online forums, and improves the

convenience of cross-language communication.
