On March 19, XR Vision reported that China has further upgraded its subsidy policy,
now offering a 15% national subsidy for smart glasses purchases, with a maximum
discount of up to CNY 2,000.

According to the JD.com smart glasses subsidy program, eligible products include
AI-powered smart glasses such as TCL RayNeo V3, Meizu StarV Air 2, and INMO
Go 2. Audio AI smart glasses from brands like SUPERHEXA and LAWK are also
included, along with cinematic smart glasses from TCL RayNeo, Xreal, Rokid,
VITURE, Goovis, and INAIR. Additionally, VR headsets from Pico and NOLO are
covered under this policy.
For example, purchasing the TCL RayNeo V3 AI smart glasses (black matte version
with a charging case) on JD.com originally costs CNY 1,999, but with the national
subsidy, the price drops to CNY 1,699.15. Similarly, the INMO Go 2 remote ring set,
originally priced at CNY 4,299, is now available for CNY 3,654 after applying the
subsidy.
A sales executive from a smart glasses brand noted that during last year’s Double 11
shopping festival, a similar government subsidy significantly boosted sales, at least
doubling the demand. As an emerging product category, smart glasses have yet to
achieve large-scale cost advantages, making their prices relatively high. The new
subsidy policy helps lower the purchase cost for consumers, driving up sales and
bringing substantial benefits to the entire industry.
