XREAL Expands into Shanghai Pudong for Development

The 2025 Pudong Investment Promotion Conference was grandly held.

XREAL, invited as a "leading enterprise in the industry chain" attended the event.

During the conference, the Pudong government granted XREAL the Win-win Pudong

Partnership plaque, marking its official establishment in Pudong.

"XREAL doesn’t just want to put this speech into our glasses—we want to put the

entire internet into them" said XREAL Founder and CEO Xu Chi during his keynote

speech. He envisioned a future where AR glasses will become as widespread as

smartphones today, emerging as the next-generation computing terminal. Without

AR, even the smartest AI cannot perceive the world. For AI to become more

intelligent, it needs ‘eyes’; for the future gateway, we need ‘glasses.’ While most tech

companies are building ‘smarter AI,’ XREAL is building ‘the eyes that make AI

smarter.’

XREAL’s continuous breakthroughs in technological innovation have solidified its

leadership in the global AR market. Its flagship products, the XREAL Air and XREAL

Beam series, have been widely acclaimed, and the XREAL One, launched in

December 2024, has redefined the AR Spatial Display 2.0 era with its self-developed

X1 spatial computing chip. According to the latest report from IDC, XREAL has

maintained its position as the global AR market leader for three consecutive years,

standing as the only AR company among the top five VR/AR brands.
